🧐 The Situation
Sometimes an agent will request a photo after the shoot that wasn’t on the original order and wouldn’t be considered standard (e.g., an odd angle, specific closet, random amenity, etc.). If this happens — and it’s not something you missed — the admin team will determine whether to approve a return trip.
✅ If It’s Approved
- You may see a new shoot added to your calendar for the same listing.
- This is normal — it just means the team decided to send you back for that additional photo.
- You will be paid for it like a normal shoot (even if it’s a small one).
🟡 Heads up: If you’re ever wondering why you have a duplicate address or partial reshoot, this is probably why.
🔕 Agent Communication
- Agents should never contact you directly.
- This is why we use OpenPhone — your personal number should never be shared.
- If you do happen to hear something from the agent or see a message somehow, do not respond directly.
🚫 What
Not
to Do
Photographers do not have the authority to:
- Promise to go back out
- Say “yes” or “no” to reshoot requests
