If an agent requests a name correction, price adjustment, or discount, here’s how to safely adjust the invoice in Spiro without breaking the order’s workflow.
🔧 To Adjust the Package or Add-Ons
- Go to Listings → click the three dots → Manage → then click the pencil icon to edit.
- Under Order Details, select Edit.
- Change the bundle (e.g., from Essentials to Base) or add/remove official services using the Add-Ons section — do not use custom fees for these, as they assign necessary tasks to our editors.
- ✅ For example, if the client adds a walkthrough video, choose Standard Walkthrough Video from Add-Ons. Don’t just add a custom $250 fee — it won’t notify the video editor.
💰 To Add a Custom Discount or Fee
- Scroll to Custom Fees → click Add Fee.
- Set a descriptive label (e.g., “Credit from last shoot” or “Non-accessibility fee”).
- Use negative numbers for discounts and positive numbers for added charges.
- Always leave an internal note explaining the reason.
- Example:
- Name: Credit from last shoot
- Amount: -59
- Internal Note: Gave $59 credit for drone photos she wasn’t happy with last time
⚠️ Important Rules
- Don’t delete existing services unless the shoot hasn’t happened yet.
- Never delete task-assigned services — it may stop editors from being notified.
- Only add custom fees when it’s something that isn’t a standard package or service.
